Conversations and Cocktails!

GOOD FRIENDS + DRINKS OVER CRUSHED ICE + GREAT CONVERSATION = MEMORIES THAT LAST A LIFETIME & FRIENDS THAT ARE MORE LIKE FAMILY

Hola Fashionistas, I know that your just as happy as I am that the holidays are over! Now it's time to relax and let all that holiday madness melt away like last years New Years Eve Resolutions. And what great way to forget about the bills you racked up. than to get turned up with good friends. CHEERS ANYONE?

Sometimes the best therapy is conversation. Get some friends together and have a good old fashion GIRLS NIGHT IN! When was the last time you and close friends got together to talk mess, man bash, and just plan act a fool? Go ahead and count how long it's been...I'll wait.

Listen, we've all built up much stress in the passing year; and I vote we leave it there. Reflect on what was done, and move on; because we all know that life is too damn short to dwell on things we can't change.

Don't know what to do for Girls Night In? Try this:

1. Set a date for friends to come over.

2. Also, make the get together a pot luck so that everyone can bring their best dish. What's a G2G (get together) without food!

3. Put a friend in charge of drinks! We all have the one friend that's an amateur mixologist, and knows every fruity drink known to man that can rival the knowledge of Jon Taffer.

4. Its your job as host/hostess to make sure everyone is having a good time, so try to think of fun things to do that doesn't make you look like a school girl having a sleep over.
        - get some great 'man hater' movies or chick flicks like Singles Mothers Club or Think Like A Man.
        - plan to have a stripper surprise ypur friends!
        - besides alcohol, make sure there is wine on deck!
        - play a few {drinking} games, or whatever games you guys like.

Bottom line be creative, not two people like the same things. Also, know that you can't please everyone; so if you get a complainer don't take it to heart. Just keep in mind that this person is miserable not matter what anyone does, and mental note not to invite them to the next g2g.

Really, Conversations & Cocktails is about just that! Have fun with friends, do some catching up on each others lives, and reminisce. Good friends are hard to come by, and if you guys really care about each other you'll never lose them; but just because you care deeply dosnt mean you don't have to work in the relationship, it means you have to work hard to keep it!
