Over the top pretty: how far do full figured women have to go to get noticed?

Hello Divas! I'm hear to report to you an alarming trend that occurs among the curvy, voluptuous, women of the world. Ladies, when the weather gets hotter and hotter the clothing starts to come off; and not all of us have to show all the goodies as the heat rises. You guys know what I'm talking about, I'm not the only Diva who's seen other queens letting it all hang out being careless about their sexiness or lack there of flap in the breeze. I've seen things wiggle and jiggle without much effort at all. Have you seen this before? Where is it most common? I wonder; how far do we as full figured women have to go to get noticed when the summer heat rises? This summer lets not have too big breasts in too small tank tops or shorts that can pass as thongs. Ladies, lets keep it Classy not Nasty. If your goal is to get attention from the male perspective; you won't get it by showing them yours first. You'll get it by showing them they have to work for all the goodies you have. Make them look at you and instantly wonder what you would look like without clothes; instead of showing them from the first impression. That will not make you a summer time boo, but instead a late night jump off; and Diva, we do not want that! Let this echo in your mind as you stock up on summer essentials; beauty, pretty, sexy, is not in what you wear; but how you wear it and the confidence you exude. By no means am I telling you to hide behind over sized clothing, shielding your sexiness from the world; but lets be smart about it. In hot weather our counter parts can wear next to nothing and unfortunately we can't follow in their footsteps. So, we have to stay a cut above and take our summer time game to a new level. First, my voluptuous Divas smaller is not better. Try and stay away from clothing that will in some way create friction between yourself and the garment. Nothing is more uncomfortable than the constant rubbing sensation caused by clothing that's too small. Did you ever notice that the tighter the clothes the more you sweat? Second, there is no creature on this earth more beautiful than you! So, please leave the heavy make-up at home. Putting on heavy make-up will suffocate your skin, allow you to sweat more, and most importantly take away from your natural beauty. I say stay fresh with your look use a light moisturizer(tinted if you prefer), maybe a good press powder to eliminate shine that may build up, and a sheer gloss to finish your look. Accessories should complement not overwhelm, but a statement they must make. When you walk in and out of a room you should be the first thing peoples eye catches, and the last thing their mouths talk about when complementing your style. As always stay beautiful, confident, full figured, and above all SEXY! Leave questions, comments, or concerns.   Until next time Divas!

Sexy, Confident, & Covered up?

Hi Divas! I want to share something with you that I've recently experienced. Recently, I was out shopping for a fashion show I'm attending in the up coming week and while shopping I've noticed that most of the so called spring/summer collections feature clothing that hides our bodies instead of showcasing the best parts. Of course they have pieces that are to die for beautiful, but those are in very short supply, and don't fit all body types. Most of the time you might find sweater like cover ups, & oversized, printed, sparkly tops. Is this fashionable to the full figured woman? To be hidden away under undesirable clothing when weather conditions becomes favorable? I say, NO! I want to be dressed as beautifully the next Diva regardless of size. How can a diva be sexy, confident, and covered up from head to toe in material for fear someone might be offended by our glory. Diva's for the rest of this season it will be my mission to express that full figured Diva's are more than a number on a scale. This spring/summer ladies, dress in the way in which you feel comfortable no matter how uncomfortable the haters are. I can only speak for myself, but I've spent too many years covering myself because I thought that was what I was supposed to do. I don't know how I had this thought in my head, but it was always my "thinking" that I had to hide my legs, thighs, and upper arms because it was considered nasty for a big girl to show these things because they weren't considered "sexy." As I got older I realized that wasn't true; well...not all of it. There is a way to be beautiful, and comfortable without stepping over the line of looking a total mess. First, BODY TYPE!! It plays a crucial role in how you present yourself during the summer. If you haven't already please read the KNOW YOUR PLUSIVITY article that was published before and that may help you to identify the category you should be in. Frequent different venues, ask other Diva's what or whom they're wearing, you never know you might make a friend along the way! As always stay the STRONG, CURVY, or FULL FIGURED DIVAS THAT YOU ALL ARE! Leave any questions, comments, or concerns below. If you have a story you want to share, please feel free to do so. Until next time, xoxo!
